Что делать, если во Вьетнаме понадобился врач
Если во Вьетнаме стало плохо, сначала отделите emergency от обычного визита, затем решите: 115/ER now, private clinic appointment, insurance assistance, translator, documents and payment.
Короткий ответ: срочное - сразу в emergency, несрочное - через клинику и страховую
При угрозе жизни, сильной боли, травме, дыхательных проблемах, потере сознания, признаках инсульта, тяжелой аллергии или ДТП не ждите ответа страховой: вызывайте помощь или едьте в nearest emergency department. Если состояние стабильное, сначала позвоните в assistance, выберите clinic, уточните стоимость и заранее подготовьте документы.
Шаг 1: определите срочность
Если есть риск для жизни or serious injury, не сравнивайте клиники по цене. Вызывайте ambulance 115 or go to nearest emergency department. GOV.UK lists Vietnam emergency services as Ambulance 115, Fire 114, Police 113, National search and rescue 112, and notes emergency numbers are operated in Vietnamese only GOV.UK Vietnam emergency services.
Для emergency приготовьте короткий набор фраз: location, age, symptoms, injury, consciousness, breathing, bleeding, allergy, pregnancy, medication and phone number. Если рядом есть Vietnamese speaker, попросите его говорить с оператором or reception.
Если состояние stable but worrying - fever, stomach illness, rash, minor injury, dental pain, ear infection, medication issue - обычно practical route: private clinic same day, hotel/host help with call, insurance assistance, taxi/Grab to clinic and document collection.
Шаг 2: свяжитесь со страховой, если можно безопасно ждать
Если ситуация не life-threatening, сначала позвоните в insurance assistance. Спросите: куда ехать, нужен ли pre-approval, есть ли direct billing, какие документы нужны, можно ли идти в private clinic, какой deductible and claim process.
Travel.State.Gov пишет по Вьетнаму, что doctors and hospitals may expect immediate cash payment for health services and medical personnel may speak little or no English U.S. State Department Vietnam health information. Поэтому даже со страховкой держите cash/card reserve and plan for reimbursement.

Шаг 3: выберите тип клиники
В крупных городах доступны international clinics, private hospitals, public hospitals and specialty clinics. Для иностранца важны language, distance, emergency capacity, diagnostics, insurance desk, payment methods and ability to issue documents in English.

Vinmec publishes international hospital network and emergency departments, including Vinmec Da Nang emergency contact information Vinmec Da Nang Emergency Medicine. FV Hospital describes Accident & Emergency triage, where patients are seen by medical urgency FV Hospital Accident and Emergency.
Это не рейтинг клиник. В конкретный день решают location, symptoms, doctor availability, language, insurance, equipment and urgency. Для Nha Trang, Da Nang, Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City держите 2-3 options заранее, not while fever or injury already escalated.
Шаг 4: что взять с собой
Минимум: passport or photo, visa/TRC photo, insurance policy, assistance phone, bank card, cash, phone charger, address in Vietnam, emergency contact, list of allergies, current medication, chronic conditions and recent tests if any.
CDC “What to Do When Sick Abroad” advises travelers to carry a healthcare professional letter listing active medical problems, current medications and allergies, and to keep health information accessible CDC What to Do When Sick Abroad. Для Вьетнама это особенно помогает, если врач говорит по-английски ограниченно or translator is needed.
Если едете с ребенком, пожилым родственником or person with chronic condition, держите weight, age, diagnoses, medication dosage, allergies and contact of regular doctor. Документы для повседневной жизни собраны в чеклисте документов иностранца.
Шаг 5: что сказать на регистрации и врачу
На регистрации: symptoms, when started, fever, pain level, injury mechanism, pregnancy, allergy, current medication, insurance, payment method and whether you need English-speaking doctor. Если вопрос срочный, говорите “emergency” and describe red flags first.
В кабинете: timeline, what changed, temperature, vomiting/diarrhea, rash, bite, accident, head injury, medication taken, alcohol, motorbike crash, travel route, sea/food exposure and chronic conditions. Не скрывайте details because they affect diagnosis and insurance.
Попросите понятный follow-up plan: diagnosis, treatment, medication dosage, warning signs, when to return, whether tests are needed, whether you can fly/ride/travel, and what document is needed for insurer.
Шаг 6: документы после визита
До выхода из клиники проверьте: invoice, receipt, medical report, diagnosis, prescription, test results, discharge summary if hospital, payment proof, doctor name, clinic stamp and English version if possible.

Сфотографируйте все сразу: чек, рецепт, упаковки лекарств, направления, анализы. Если документы на Vietnamese only, спросите English summary. Без medical report and invoice reimbursement often becomes harder.
Шаг 7: когда думать об эвакуации или втором мнении
Если состояние serious, diagnosis unclear, нужна операция, ICU, complex imaging, specialist not available, child emergency, head injury, stroke, cardiac symptoms or complicated trauma, спросите врача and assistance about transfer or second opinion.
Travel.State.Gov notes that international health clinics in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City can treat minor illnesses and injuries, but more serious problems may require medical evacuation to other cities in the region U.S. State Department Vietnam health information. Если врач предлагает hospitalization or procedure, уточните estimated cost, what is urgent, alternatives, risks of waiting, insurance approval, deposit, room type, translator and documents before payment if time allows.
После визита: не теряйте контроль
Проверьте, что вы поняли medication schedule, interactions, alcohol restrictions, driving/motorbike limits, follow-up date, danger signs and claim deadline. Не покупайте аналоги лекарств наугад if prescription name unclear.
Напишите короткое summary для себя: symptoms, clinic, doctor, diagnosis, treatment, payments, claim ID, follow-up and emergency contacts. Это поможет, если придется идти во вторую клинику or explain case to insurer.
Заранее сохраните emergency and medical contacts из полезных контактов во Вьетнаме. В момент стресса важно не искать “какой номер звонить”, а открыть готовую заметку.
Что подготовить в телефоне заранее
- 115 ambulance, 113 police, 114 fire, 112 search and rescue.
- Insurance assistance phone, policy number, claim email and PDF policy.
- Passport, visa/TRC, emergency contact and local address.
- Allergies, medication, chronic conditions, blood type if known.
- Two clinic options in your city and one emergency hospital route.
- Payment reserve: card plus cash for immediate clinic payment.
- Folder for invoice, receipt, medical report, prescription and test results.
Когда не стоит ждать
- Chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, stroke signs, loss of consciousness.
- Severe allergic reaction, uncontrolled bleeding, serious burn or head injury.
- Motorbike crash, fall with confusion, severe pain or inability to move limb.
- High fever with stiff neck, rash, severe dehydration or child deterioration.
- Severe abdominal pain, pregnancy emergency or rapidly worsening condition.
- Doctor/clinic says transfer, hospitalization or emergency department is needed.
